Dr. King has been our family Veterinarian for many years, taking superb care of our dog, who is now 11. Our experiences with both wellness and sick visits have been nothing short of exemplary. Dr. King works hard at building long-term relationships with her patients and their owners. She knows our dog so well, she can easily tell when he is “just not right”, and is always on target with her assessment. Her skill, experience, and instincts have tremendously benefited and positively impacted our dog’s overall health and well-being over the years. Teddy has a chronic autoimmune issue that had previously caused him tremendous discomfort during its frequent flare-ups. Dr. King carefully put together a novel treatment plan that effectively manages his symptoms, mitigates bad flare-ups and is easy for me to administer. I can honestly say his quality of life has greatly improved because she did not give up on finding this most effective regimen. Dr. King always thinks outside the box, leaving no stone unturned, diligently working to research and identify complex illnesses. She places a lot of care and thought into designing treatment plans that are not only beneficial in treating the illnesses she identifies, but also focuses on minimizing potential side effects. Patients’ overall comfort and well-being is a high priority in her practice.

Dr. King is extremely well-versed, well-trained, resourceful, caring, dedicated, hard-working, responsive, very compassionate, gentle, and highly experienced. She takes a personal interest in every pet, treating and loving them as if they were her own. Our dog definitely feels her love and loves her right back! He totally trusts Dr. King and allows her to perform any necessary procedure without becoming stressed, anxious or frightened. She listens carefully to our concerns, both large and small and gladly answers questions while speaking reassuringly and thoroughly to all those concerns.

Every team member I have met at Companion Care Animal Clinic has been friendly, warm, welcoming, professional, reassuring, and extremely caring. My dog loves coming in for a visit, even when he is ill. He is always greeted and treated like a VIP by everyone! We are grateful to be part of such a caring, skilled practice and gladly travel an hour each way in order for Dr. King to keep our much-loved dog in good health, able to live his best, active life for many more years!
